Fine Tuning Your Life

As a child I often had nightmares that made me reluctant to fall asleep. 

But as I gained more experience, I also evolved in my dreams and discovered something key – no matter how scary or life-threatening any dream might be… I could never die.

So one night I tried an experiment – I jumped off a cliff to escape the scary monster at my heels and much to my amazement, my landing didn’t hurt a bit and I remained unscathed.

After trying this same technique in several subsequent dreams, my fear disappeared altogether as did the fearsome monsters, who no longer bothered me.

They seemed to have been the manifestations of fear inside of me. And that was the end of my nightmares and I’ve rarely had any since.  

Life can be similar to our dreams even when we are awake – most often, fear and imagination are the cause of our suffering.

Granted, things can happen that are out of our control, but we are in charge of our reaction and how we recover in life. 

A part of becoming self-actualized is knowing our mind’s chatter is separate from ourselves and taking charge of this chatter so it aligns with our optimal path.

Once we discover our thoughts, emotions and any subconscious beliefs manifest over time as our reality, we can fine tune our lives much more effectively.

We can use our present day circumstances as a learning tool – to better understand what we’re creating and change the narrative to something we truly want and not the alternative.

Everyone is deserving of a wonderful life filled with love, joy and abundance.
