Being in the Present

When I go for a walk on the beach at the end of the day, I am struck by how many people are celebrating the sunset with pictures, romantic gestures and quiet solitude as if they long to follow the sun over the distant horizon.

It’s no wonder, as there are few things in life more engaging than a beautiful sunset and precious memories.

But when we watch the sunset, we are looking toward the past, not fully aware of our future lying in the other direction.

The planet rotates forward as does the passage of time and what we think, say, feel and know creates what our lives will become.

Turning our backs on the future and focusing on the past is the fabric of karmic loops and lessons repeating themselves.

Indeed, our brains are programmed counterproductively and can often take us back to the past, especially when our present reality pales in comparison.

But we must experience every moment in honor of what is to come, knowing our future is a projection of who we are in the present.

Let the evening’s sunset be symbolic of letting go and giving thanks for the goodness that comes with every day.

Give your attention to the present and make it the best it can be, so your brain doesn’t default to the past or worry about the future.

‘Being’ your highest and best in the present attracts the 5D reality of that which you desire and your visions of an incredible future will crystalize effortlessly.

Along with a New Technique

Over the past weeks, I’ve been sending unwanted energies off to the stars and it’s working brilliantly.

And today, I realized something new regarding this technique. On the flip side, when we envision positive scenarios for ourselves, it now resonates to ground these energies into Mother Earth (the opposite of what I was taught when learning meditation).

She is the sphere of consciousness that hosts our experience here and like any great parent, she has our very best interests at heart.

In addition to this, I fill my chakras with the frequencies I desire and envision them traveling up my spine with my Kundalini, letting it fill my aura, elevating my energy field, as it emits the new vibrations I wish to be in the world.

So remember to ground whatever you’d like into Mother Earth and she will amplify any improvements we wish to make for ourselves.

A New Technique

I have moved abroad for a while and presently live on the gentle slopes of Mount Agung, the most sacred place in Bali.

Aligned with my current state of reawakening, I am drawn to the sacred energy centers found on Mother Earth.

Just as we manifest physical presence via our chakras and energy grid, so does the planet have her own network of vortexes, ley lines and matrix.

Mount Agung marks the intersection of the male/female dragon lines (ley lines) circumnavigating the globe and the energies are palpable here.

So I was drawn to Bali, knowing little about this place, but I knew, I needed to be here a while for healing and clarity.

In Ubud last week, I had a facial – Balinese style. The hour began with energy work – a gentle Reiki infusion into each of my chakras, followed by an exquisite massage with exotic oils and fragrances on my face, neck, shoulders and hands.

At the end of the hour, the masseuse anointed my feet and calves as well, pulling outdated energies out through my foot chakras.

The release was so unexpected in its enormity that tears welled up in my eyes as I understood how much trauma I held on a cellular level (both collective and my own). And with this, I also realized that I had been in survival mode ever since I was a child.

When the massage was over, I was handed a cup of mint tea and silently wept as I drank the nectar given to comfort me.

Once my sorrow began to wane, my monkey mind kicked in and busily started to clear my body of any residual pain.

For decades, I had been clearing myself by grounding unwanted energies to the center of the earth, where they would be neutralized and couldn’t do anymore harm.

But with my huge release that day, I realized something new. Grounding unwanted energies into Mother Earth, may remove them from our present day lives, but they can remain ethereally and lie dormant for many years.

This is how karmic cycles can revisit our subsequent lives and collective cycles of evolution can often repeat themselves.

And in that moment I realized, the stars are the fiery portals of transformation here. The stars are what we must use to neutralize unwanted energies, by sending them off to the heavens to be consumed by the light.

And perhaps their ashes might someday return as a phoenix of positive frequencies, enhancing our future lives, as the stars are the light in the infinite void of possibility here.
